    We support grooves on inside and outside diameters down to 0.020″ [0.5mm] width.
    Most coarse and fine metric, inch, and some NPT thread sizes are supported. We will add thread relief grooves as required for manufacturing, for example when threading to a shoulder.

  • Sheet Metal Fabrication

    Sheet metal fabrication is a manufacturing method that involves cutting and bending sheets of metal to form different shapes.
    Sheet metal fabrication is more cost-effective than CNC machining when it comes to metal components with uniform wall thickness.

    Laser cutting
    This manufacturing process uses a high-power laser beam to cut a material sheet. 
    Allowable sheet thickness:0.5 - 10 mm
    Bending
    This manufacturing process uses dies to produce a U-shape, V- shape or channel shape along a straight axis in ductile materials.
    Allowable sheet thickness:0.5 - 6 mm

  • Surface Finishing

     

  • As machined

    Our standard finish is “as machined” finish. It has a surface roughness of 3.2 μm (126 μin). All sharp edges are removed and parts are deburred. Tool marks are visible.

  • Smoothed

    Parts are machined at a lower feed rate in order to achieve a surface roughness of ~62.5 RA µin (1.6 RA µm). Surface roughness can be decreased up to ~32 RA µin (0.8RAµm) upon request.

  • Bead Blasted

    Bead blasting adds a uniform matte or satin surface finish on a machined part, removing all tool marks. Mainly used for aesthetic purposes.

  • Anodized Clear or Color (type II)

     Anodizing adds a thin, hard, non-conductive ceramic coating on the surface of aluminum parts, increasing their corrosion and wear resistance. Available in a variety of colors.
